PM Modi's Mann ki Baat : Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing the 120th episode of 'Mann Ki Baat' mentioned 'Pariksha Pe Charcha'. Recalling his childhood days, he said that during the summer vacations, my friends and I used to create some mischief or the other throughout the day. During 'Mann Ki Baat', PM Modi said, "When exams come, I have 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' with young friends. Now the exams are over, in many schools preparations are being made for classes to start again. After this, the time for summer vacations is also about to come.

A good time to hone your skills and take up a new hobby

Recalling his childhood days, the Prime Minister said, "I remember my childhood days when my friends and I used to create mischief all day long, but at the same time we used to do something creative and learn too. Summer days are long, children have a lot to do in them. This is the time to adopt a new hobby as well as hone your skills. Today, there is no dearth of such platforms for children where they can learn a lot. For example, if an organization is running a technology camp, then children can learn about open-source software along with making apps there."

Modi shares childhood stories

He further said, "If there is a course on environment, theatre or leadership, you can join them. There are many schools that teach speech or drama, which is very useful for children. Apart from all this, you also have the opportunity to join volunteer activities and service work going on at many places during these holidays. I have a special request for such programs. If any organization, school or social institution or science center is organizing such summer activities, then definitely share it with the hashtag My Holidays. This will help children and their parents across the country to easily get information about them."
