Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday, during a phone call with 'Rajmata' Amrita Roy (BJP candidate from Krishanagar, West Bengal), asserted that he is looking for all the possible legal options to ensure that the money looted from the poor in West Bengal goes back to them through whatever assets and money ED has attached from the corrupt.

Roy, belongs to the Nadia royal family, joined the party last week.

The call was made public, in which PM Modi can be heard saying that one hand BJP is committed to uprooting corruption in the country and on the other hand all the corrupt have come together to save each other. PM Modi also expressed confidence that West Bengal will vote for 'Parivartan' in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024.

Amrita Roy will be opposing Trinamool Congress Mahua Moitra in Krishnanagar in West Bengal.

It is to be noted that the call has surfaced after PM Modi spoke to Rekha Patra, one of the Sandeshkhali victim who will contest the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024. He asked about campaign preparations and called her ‘Shakti Swaroopa.’
