With his claim that Congress veteran Digvijaya Singh will be transferred to Pakistan following the latter's defeat in the Rajgarh Lok Sabha constituency of Madhya Pradesh, BJP MLA Rameshwar Sharma ignited a stir on Tuesday. Singh vehemently disagreed with Sharma's comments and stated that his legal team was reviewing them.

What remarks did Rameshwar Sharma make?

Sharma made the comment on Monday while addressing reporters in Biora. "We will win the Lok Sabha seat by more than eight lakh votes," Sharma stated, "and BJP activists have reaffirmed their resolve to achieve the victory of the party candidate (Rodmal Nagar) by more than one lakh votes in the Biora assembly segment (part of the Rajgarh Lok Sabha seat).

Here's what he said!

He went on, "The 'Raja' (Singh) who is wandering around here will be sent packing in a way that he will not obtain a place in Hindustan but rather in Islamabad or Lahore, as his admirers do not exist in Madhya Pradesh and the country anymore, but they do exist north of the border. They both think well of one another.

The Congress leader and former chief minister of Madhya Pradesh responded to Sharma's statement by saying, "I do not want to mention anything new about it." Other than this, they have no problems. My attorneys are reviewing the statement and will take appropriate action.

Digvijay vs BJP?

]In opposition to BJP candidate Rodmal Nagar, the Congress has selected Digvijaya Singh from the Rajgarh Lok Sabha constituency. He ran for the Lok Sabha seat in the Bhopal constituency in the 2019 Indian general election, but Pragya Singh Thakur won. Singh did, however, win the seat from Rajgarh in 1984 and 1991.

In the meantime, Nagar has received another BJP nomination after winning the seat in the elections of 2014 and 2019. Madhya Pradesh's Lok Sabha elections are scheduled to take place in four stages, on April 19, April 26, May 7, and May 13. Along with seven other parliamentary seats in the state, Rajgarh will be subject to polling in the third round on May 7.
