Amidst the ongoing turmoil stemming from Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's first directive during his Enforcement Directorate (ED) custody, a fresh order has been dispatched to the health department. This directive was conveyed to Delhi's Health Minister, Saurabh Bharadwaj, through a memorandum from the Chief Minister's office. Speaking at a press conference, Health Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj highlighted, "Even from jail, he (Arvind Kejriwal) is concerned about the health of Delhi’s residents and has given me instructions in this regard."

"He has specifically pointed out in his instructions that certain hospitals and mohalla clinics in Delhi are not providing free medicines. Additionally, some are not conducting free tests. He has directed me to address these concerns," Bharadwaj elaborated.

Earlier, during his custody under the ED, CM Kejriwal issued an initial directive on Sunday, instructing Water Minister Atishi to tackle water and sewage issues in the capital city.

Arrested on March 21 and subsequently remanded to ED custody until March 28 by a Delhi court, CM Kejriwal faces accusations of direct involvement in a conspiracy related to the formulation of an excise policy that allegedly favoured certain individuals. The investigative agency asserts that CM Kejriwal solicited bribes from liquor traders in exchange for favourable treatment.
