Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra: In a powerful display of public support, a massive crowd gathered in Dhubri, Assam, during the 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra' led by former Congress President Rahul Gandhi. The journey, covering approximately 140 kilometers and passing through Barpeta, Abhaypuri, Bongaigaon, and Dhubri, witnessed enthusiastic receptions from locals, affirming their endorsement of Rahul Gandhi's leadership.

Addressing the spirited gathering in Dhubri, Rahul Gandhi spoke about the Congress initiative to connect India through 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra' from Manipur to Maharashtra. He emphasized the addition of 'Justice' to the journey's name, stating that justice is the antidote to hatred and violence. Rahul Gandhi attributed the rise of hatred and violence to prevailing injustices in the country.

Directing his attention to Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Rahul Gandhi accused him of being the most corrupt Chief Minister in the country. He highlighted Sarma's divisive rhetoric, claiming that he instigates religious conflicts and diverts public attention to conceal corrupt practices. Rahul Gandhi asserted that Sarma's remote control is wielded by Home Minister Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, contending that Assam is essentially governed from Delhi.

He identified Maulana Badruddin Ajmal-lead AIUDF as BJP's significant partner and stressed that the Congress party would not compromise with either BJP or Ajmal. Rahul Gandhi portrayed the political landscape as a coin with Modi, Amit Shah, and Chief Minister Sarma on one side and Ajmal on the other. He emphasized that defeating BJP requires overcoming its B team, represented by Ajmal.
