International Drug Smuggler Arrested: A wanted drug smuggler from America, Shahnaz Singh alias Shaun Bhinder has been arrested in Punjab. Shaun Bhinder is not only an international drug smuggler but he is also the kingpin of his gang. The FBI was also looking for Shaun Bhinder.
Shaun Bhinder arrested from Tarn Taran
Information about this arrest has been given through the X account of the DGP of Punjab Police. A post on X read- "In a major breakthrough, Tarn Taran Police has arrested Shahnaz Singh alias Shaun Bhinder, an international drug mafia wanted by the FBI-USA. He is a key player in a global narcotics syndicate that used to smuggle cocaine from Colombia to the USA and Canada.
The gang was nabbed down in America
Police further said that the crackdown was carried out following the arrest of his four associates in the US on February 26, 2025. Bhinder's associates in the US - Amritpal Singh alias Amrit, Amritpal Singh alias Cheema, Takdir Singh alias Romi, Sarbasit Singh alias Sabi, Fernando Valladares alias Franco - have been arrested.
America's Most wanted caught
During their arrest, USA authorities seized 391 kg of methamphetamine, 109 kg of cocaine and four firearms from their homes and vehicles. Following the crackdown, Shahnaz fled to India, where Punjab Police successfully tracked and arrested him.
