President Droupadi Murmu is all set to address a joint sitting of both the houses of Parliament today. The last session before Lok Sabha polls expected to be held in April-May this year is to provide a total of eight sittings spread over a period of 10 days. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the interim Budget on February 1.Ahead of the Parliaments Interim Budget Session, the Central administration met with floor leaders of political parties on Tuesday under the direction of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.The Union Minister further stated that while important legislative and other matters will also be discussed, the main focus of the meeting will be the financial business regarding the Interim Union Budget for 2024–25 and the motion of thanks regarding the Presidents Address.Furthermore, he mentioned that there will be a discussion and vote on the Supplementary Demands for Grants for the Union Government for the Year 2023–2024.WATCH LIVE session here:
