In old times, only elderly people used to experience heart attacks, but today, heart attacks are in young individuals in their 30s and 40s.

The main cause of heart attack is the blockage of coronary arteries or heart vessels. When the arteries are clogged, the heart cannot provide enough oxygen and blood, leading to a heart attack. Clogging might be due to various reasons, but an irresponsible lifestyle is a primary cause.

Here are some of the causes of blocked coronary arteries.

Shrinkage of tubes in cold temperatures:

Most heart attacks result from the blood vessels contracting due to the cold weather in the winter.

Cholesterol

Fast food and fried food consumption produce poor cholesterol levels in the body. These damage the coronary arteries and cause blockages. The chance of a heart attack increases due to the heart’s inability to receive blood smoothly.

Stress & Anxitey

Heart attacks can also be caused due to stress and anxiety. Mental stress increases the possibility of myocardial ischemia in the body. Moreover, stress prevents the heart muscles from receiving adequate oxygen, which increases the risk of a heart attack.

Conclusion

Varied activities, unhealthy lifestyles, improper diet & poor body health levels could cause heart attacks or severe heart problems. Understanding the main concern & working to improve it can be the most effective solution for your disease.
