New Delhi: As temperatures soar, summer demands extra care for your skin to combat issues like pimples, rashes, and pigmentation exacerbated by sweat and strong sunlight. Heat rash happens when sweat cannot escape from the sweat ducts to the surface of the skin. This blocks the pores and causes an inflammatory response from the body in the form of a rash. However, you can try these natural remedies to soothe your skin.

Skin experts recommend opting for breathable fabrics that absorb sweat to prevent irritation. Loose-fitting clothes are advised to minimize friction-induced rashes.

Apply cold compress

For relief from skin rashes, applying a cold compress with ice wrapped in cloth or using chilled water-soaked fabric helps soothe affected areas. Aloe vera, known for its cooling properties, offers instant relief from irritation and can be applied directly or as ice cubes mixed with rose water.

Neem leaves

Neem leaves, celebrated for their antibacterial qualities, are effective against infections. Daily bathing with neem-infused water helps prevent boils and pimples caused by heat. For skin rashes, neem leaf paste can be applied as a soothing face pack.

Multani Mitti

A blend of Multani mitti (Fuller's earth) and sandalwood powder mixed with rose water provides a cooling pack to alleviate skin rashes and pimples. Adding aloe vera and a pinch of turmeric enhances its effectiveness in soothing and rejuvenating summer-stressed skin.

These natural remedies offer effective solutions to maintain healthy, radiant skin amidst the challenges posed by summer heat and humidity.
