If you are travelling to and from the national capital during the G20 Summit, here’s a special offer by Air India and Vistara as they announced that the passengers holding confirmed tickets between September 07 to September 11 will be given a one-time waiver of applicable charges, in case if they wish to change their flight or date of travel owing to the restrictions imposed in Delhi in the view of global leaders’ summit.

Air India provides waiver for passengers travelling during G20 Summit in Delhi

Taking it to X (formerly known as Twitter), Air India said, “Important Announcement: There will be traffic restrictions in Delhi between 7th and 11th September 2023. As a measure of goodwill, passengers holding confirmed tickets to fly to or from Delhi on these dates are being offered a one-time waiver of applicable charges, if they wish to change their date of travel or their flight.”

The airline added, “Only the fare difference for the rescheduled flight, if any, would be applicable.”

Even, Vistara gives flexibility

Meanwhile, Vistara issued a statement and said in its tweet that due to the elaborate regulations on vehicular movement planned by the Delhi Traffic Police, given the G20 Summit that is expected to impact approach routes to the IGI Airport, New Delhi, we have made some adjustments to our flight operations to and from Delhi. We have cancelled selected flights while some others have been rescheduled.

“We have cancelled selected flights while some others have been rescheduled,” Vistara said in a post on platform X on Tuesday. The airline said that it was offering a waiver of the change fee for one-time rescheduling for bookings on these dates.
