After winning the Miss Diva Universe 2023 title in August of this year, 23-year-old Shweta Sharda guaranteed her place in the Miss Universe 2023 semifinals on Sunday. She is competing on behalf of India and has made it to the competitions semi-finals.In August, she was crowned Miss Diva Universe 2023.Shweta while addressing the media after winning Miss Diva Universe said, “A tremendous sense of satisfaction and excitement comes from winning the Miss Diva India pageant. Ive been dreaming about this moment for so long, and seeing it come true is simply beyond words. I am incredibly grateful and eager for the journey that lies ahead, and Im looking forward to making my nation and my family proud by bringing the Miss Universe Crown back to India.”With the contestants from over 90 nations looking to win the coveted crown, the 72nd Miss Universe pageant is being hosted in El Salvador.Before this, three stunning Indian women have taken home the Miss Universe title: 1994s Sushmita Sen, 2000s Lara Dutta, and 2022s Harnaz Sandhu.
