A new luxurious martini is making waves in Chicago, Illinois, as Adalina, a premier Italian restaurant, unveils the most expensive martini in the United States priced at an astonishing $13,000. This extravagant cocktail, dubbed the "Marrow Martini," offers more than just an exceptional drinking experience; it comes with a dazzling 9-carat diamond tennis necklace featuring 150 diamonds set in 14K gold, providing guests with the ultimate fusion of fine dining and luxury.

An exclusive collaboration for an unmatched experience

Adalina, helmed by Top Chef alum Soo Ahn, has partnered with the jewelry brand Marrow Fine to create this unique offering. The restaurant and jewelry brand, conveniently located just below one another, have worked together to combine the sophistication of jewelry with the artistry of mixology. Colin Hofer, Adalina's manager, told Fox News Digital, "What makes the Marrow Martini truly unique is the seamless fusion of fine jewelry and luxury dining. It’s not just about the cocktail — it’s about creating an elevated experience."

While martinis are often crafted with classic spirits like gin or vodka, the Marrow Martini takes a different route. Hofer explained that the cocktail is made with rare Mezcal, a luxury spirit derived from Green Agave native to San Luis Potosí, Mexico. "Mezcal, much like heirloom jewelry, is often overlooked despite its richness," Hofer said, adding that the drink is a reflection of this spirit’s untapped potential.

Crafted with premium ingredients for bold flavors

Beyond the exclusive Mezcal, the Marrow Martini is further elevated with fresh, garden-inspired ingredients such as heirloom tomato water, chili liqueur, and lemon basil olive oil, giving it a distinct, bold flavor.

On the other hand, Jillian Sassone, founder of Marrow Fine, believes that her enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, "Adalina was a natural choice to partner with: not only because of its proximity, but also because of their world-class menu from Top Chef Soo Ahn." Sassone expects the Marrow Martini to create unforgettable dining experiences.
