It has been used in many ways in the kitchen, for frying, greasing, tempering, baking, etc. But in India, we occasionally use ghee instead of oil, not only to give a meal a distinctive flavour but also because ghee is well recognised to provide several advantages. Oil is not necessarily unhealthy, though; it all depends on the type you pick and how you use it.

Ghee as compared to Olive oil
