In 2023, Diipa Buller-Khosla attends the 76th Cannes Film Festival, the most prestigious event in film, for the sixth time in a row. In 2018, a prominent worldwide influencer, activist, and beauty entrepreneur became the first person from India to walk the Cannes red carpet.Khosla makes her eighth appearance on the esteemed red carpet in 2023. Notably, this is the first time in the festivals history that a South Asian global talent showcase will be hosted by an Indian-based beauty brand and feature female entrepreneurs driving change in fashion, entrepreneurship, media, and entertainment.Khoslas visit to the festival not only marks her long establishment with the industry but also signifies Indias growing relevance and presence in the global luxury market.Speaking about one of its kind collaborations with global music sensation Raja Kumari and content creator and actor Dolly Singh to honour and celebrate the South Asian women, Khosla said, “Bringing these amazing women to Cannes and with them the millions of girls that look up to them and feel inspired, we are paving the way a little further. Six years ago, I did my first Cannes red carpet walk and I had to fight for that spot. Now we are here with half an army. We are truly represented. I crawled, so we can now walk. Now round, we run and one day we will fly.”In a sophisticated draped gown by UAE-based designer Marmar Halim, Diipa Khosla dazzled on the red carpet at the Cannes 2023 Film Festival.Diipa acknowledged that she had a Goddess Laxmi-like appearance.
