Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) will begin online application process of class 10 and 12 board examinations 2024 for private candidates today, September 12, 2023. Examinations will be held in February, March, and April 2024 along with the board’s main examination. Students are advised to visit the official website of the board for the registration-cbse.gov.in.

How to apply?

Candidates can apply for the exam by visiting the official website and filling up the application form. They must be aware that simply submitting the form and paying the fee does not grant them the right to sit in the exam. He or she must satisfy the requirements of the board. Net banking, a debit card or a credit card must be used to pay the fees online. Cheques, postal orders, money orders and any other forms of offline payment are not accepted.
Additionally, the exam location will be assigned based on the candidates’s choice of city on the application.

Fees required for the exam?

To submit the forms, students need to submit exam fee of five subjects which is ₹ 1500 and ₹ 300 per subject for each extra subject.
For compartment exam, additional and improvement exams, the fee is ₹ 300 and for practical exam it is ₹ 150.
Last date for registration
The last date to submit the form is October 11. However, candidates will still be allowed to submit the form till October 19 but with a late fine of ₹2,000.
Meanwhile, CBSE announced the exam results for the academic session 2022-2023 in May this year.
