'Train to Busan', a 2016 South Korean action horror film, became a reality for America when several videos last year showed people unable to stand and acting weird on the streets of Sierra Leone. Sierra Leone, a West African country, is in crisis due to the menance caused by a highly addicted psychoactive drug, xylazine, somethimes known as "tranq". President Bio issued a dire warning in a nationwide address, describing the drug epidemic as an existential threat: "Our country is facing a grave crisis from drug abuse, especially the deadly synthetic drug kush. "
This intoxicating mixture often named "Kush", prepared from human bones, has created fear in the entire country. This is the reason why people are stealing human bones by digging graves. After which the security of cemeteries became a matter of concern in the country.

What is Kush?

Kush is like decoction. People in the country consume it as an intoxicant. Apart from herbs, disinfectant medicines are mixed with hemp. Its intoxication is very deep. This is the reason why drug addicts drink it in large quantities. The most dangerous element in it is sulphur.
The demand for sulphur increased so much that smuggling started. People caught under influence of alcohol started stealing. They want Kush at any cost. Human bones are being smuggled to make Kush.

Effects of Zombie virus on health

Addicts, suppliers and dealers have reportedly begun digging graves and removing bones from cemeteries in Freetown to make the drug. Due to the excessive quantity and toxic chemicals present in it, this danger is killing dozens of people every month.
According to the reports of doctors, Kush directly affects the vital organs of the body like heart, brain, liver, kidney and lungs due to which the addict can die at any time. Seeing the danger, the government has declared emergency and has deployed police guards outside the cemeteries to prevent theft of human bones.

Due to Kush abuse, several young men across the country, particularly in the capital Freetown, have been spotted high on street corners with swollen limbs- a common side effect of the drug. The intoxication of Kush is very cheap. An drug worth just Rs 800 is enough to keep them fed for the whole day. For this reason, the government of Sierra Leone has now created a National Task Force to protect youth from drug use and stop drug trafficking.
