Who was Abu Qatal ? Faisal Nadeem alias Abu Qatal, a prominent terrorist of Lashkar-e-Taiba and one of its most wanted terrorists, was killed in Pakistan on Saturday night. Qatal was also killed by some unknown attackers. Unknown attackers have been wreaking havoc on terrorists in Pakistan for the past few years. Now Abu Qatal has become the target of these attackers. These unknown attackers have now given a big blow to Pakistan by killing another prominent terrorist.


The Rajouri and Reasi Attack Planner Who Met His End in Pakistan

Qatal, a close aide of 26/11 Mumbai attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed, and two other Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists were chargesheeted by the National Investigation Agency in connection with the January 2023 Rajouri attacks. The three Lashkar-e-Taiba operatives named in the chargesheet were identified as Abu Qatal, Saifullah alias Sajid Jatt (also known by several names including Ali, Habibullah and Nauman) and Mohammad Qasim.

Qatal was one of the most wanted terrorists
Abu Qatal, a Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist and one of the most wanted terrorists, was killed by unknown assailants in Jhelum Sindh, Pakistan on Saturday night. He was involved in the 2023 Rajouri attack and the 2024 Reasi bus attack as well as other deadly attacks in Jammu and Kashmir. He was one of the most wanted terrorists for Indian security agencies including the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and the Indian Army.


Who was Abu Qatal?
Abu Qatal was a prominent Lashkar terrorist who was involved in planning and executing several attacks in Jammu and Kashmir. He was also known as Faisal Nadeem. Qatal had strong links with Hafiz Saeed, the mastermind behind the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. His terror activities started in 2002-03, when he infiltrated into India and started carrying out terror attacks in the Poonch-Rajouri region.

Katal created terror outfits like the People's Anti-Fascist Force (PAFF) and The Resistant Force (TRF) to cover up terror activities of Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed. He played a key role in the Reasi attack on June 9, 2024, where terrorists opened fire on a bus carrying pilgrims from the Shiv Khori temple, killing nine and injuring 41. One of his proxy groups, PAFF, was declared a terrorist organisation by the Home Ministry on January 7, 2023.
