NASA’s Crew- 10 astronauts are set to dock at the International Space Station( ISS) on March 15 at 1130 PM ET( March 16, 9 AM IST) for a six- month charge. The new crew will replace Sunita Williams, Barry ‘ Butch’ Wilmore, Nick Hague, and Aleksandr Gorbunov, who are listed to return to Earth on March 19 after an extended stay due to specialized issues with Boeing’s Starliner capsule.
SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket successfully launched from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, Florida, at 703 PM ET on Friday( 433 AM IST on Saturday), carrying the Crew Dragon capsule. Around 10 twinklespost-launch, the capsule separated from the rocket, beginning its trip toward the ISS.

With their appearance, the ISS will temporarily host 11 astronauts before the Crew- 9 platoon departs coming week.
Astronauts Wilmore and Williams have been stranded on the ISS since June, after Boeing’s defective Starliner capsule delayed their return. NASA, under President Donald Trump, has prioritized their safe return via a Crew Dragon capsule, presently docked at the ISS.
Following a two- day handover, Crew- 10 will take over station operations. Their six- month charge includes critical exploration on lunar navigation, material flammability, and the goods of space on the mortal body. Their stay will help pave the way for unborn spacecraft designs and long- term space operations.
