In her book, the actress boldly calls out the PTI chairman as a sexual predator challenging the public image of the charismatic chairman. Panezai further adds, not a single woman has been excluded from Imran Khan’s alleged brutalities.

While there have been accounts of Khan’s drug use earlier, the book gives a closer look into the former PM’s cocaine consumption, highlighting the stark contrast in his public and private life.

The wrong 'messiah'

At the launch, she also commented on the political scenario of Pakistan, and said that she regrets the decision of believing in Imran Khan like many others, and making him a ‘messiah’. Her words were a collective message of the many, who had believed in Imran Khan as he had promised the citizens of progressive change and innovation.

Hajra Khan’s new book:The Publishing Struggle

After completing her autobiography in 2014, Hajra Panezai faced intimidation and threats that forced her to delay the publication. She also encountered resistance from a London-based publisher due to the controversial nature of her story. Undeterred, Panezai remains committed to sharing her experiences and has gathered evidence to support her claims.

Actress Hajra Khan’s book speaks not only of her struggles but of the many struggles of the Pakistani women that go unheard and untold. It stands as an example for the women of the 21st century to speak of their difficulties and struggles, however minute, and take a stand for themselves.
