The White House is keeping close eye on the situation after the 'vehicle explosion' incident at the US-Canada border has claimed two lives. According to a senior official the incident happened on Wednesday and law enforcement is on scene to investigate the matter.

"The White House is closely monitoring the situation, law enforcement is on scene and investigating," the senior White House official said.

The statement from the White House has come after a 'vehicle explosion' at the US-Canada border crossing near Niagara Falls in the afternoon hours on Wednesday killed two people, as per sources.

The official further informed the media persons that the car was completely destroyed. We do not yet know the cause of the car explosion. When the event occurred, a Canadian tourist to New York claimed to have been walking nearby when he saw the car rushing towards the border crossing.

In the meantime, a statement from the FBI Buffalo Field Office stated that the event is being looked into in cooperation with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies. The agency taking it to its official X handle, tweeted, “As this situation is very fluid, that's all we can say at this time.”

The Rainbow Bridge, which links Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, and Niagara Falls, New York, is a well-liked tourist destination. The Lewiston-Queenston Bridge, the Whirlpool Rapids Bridge, and the Peace Bridge are the other border crossings in the area.
