The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) says that it has deployed several Navys missile ships in the Gulf of Eilat in the Red Sea. The response came after Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen attacked Israel with missiles and drones.According to the IDF, the military intercepted two drones and a missile which was launched from Yemen. Another target was intercepted this morning near the southernmost city of Eilat in Israel.The IDF says the vessels were deployed yesterday as per the requirement of the tense situation to increase the defense efforts in the area. The IDF clarified it has several layers of air defenses in the area to protect against Houthi attacks.
