US Vice President JD Vance may visit India soon, will Trump take PM Modi's help in Russia-Ukraine ceasefire

US Vice President JD Vance is going to visit India. It is being said that he may come to India in the last week of March. During this time, issues to strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries will be discussed. Apart from this, there can be discussions on defense, trade and foreign policy including the Russia-Ukraine war.

New York:  US Vice President JD Vance is going to visit India soon. According to a media report, Vice President JD Vance may visit India later this month. A Politico report quoted three sources familiar with his plans as saying, "Vance may visit India later this month. He will be accompanied by US Second Lady and Vice President's wife Usha Vance. This is Vance's second foreign trip as Vice President after making his debut on the world stage in France and Germany last month."

Not much details have been shared about this visit yet. But this visit is taking place at a time when US President Donald Trump has put in all his efforts to bring about a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine. During this time, there have been indications of an agreement on the Russia-Ukraine war in Saudi Arabia. According to US officials, Zelensky has agreed to a 30-day ceasefire. Now US officials are going to visit Russia. Meanwhile, Vice President Vance's visit to India is also giving many indications.

Will Usa seek help from Modi in the Russia-Ukraine war?

In order to implement the Russia-Ukraine ceasefire, talks are going on between US officials and Ukraine in Saudi Arabia. Now efforts are also being made to woo Russia. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has friendly relations with the Presidents of both Russia and Ukraine. In such a situation, it is believed that America can take the help of PM Modi in taking the Russia-Ukraine war peace talks to a conclusion. In such a situation, discussions are also expected about the Russia-Ukraine ceasefire peace talks in this visit of JD Vance. However, this visit of JD Vance is being done to deepen and strengthen the bilateral relations of the two countries, in which many important issues can be discussed. 

Usha's parents are Indian

JD Vance's wife Usha Vance's parents Krish Chilukuri and Lakshmi Chilukuri migrated to the US from India in the late 1970s. Usha is a litigator and has also clerked for US Supreme Court Chief Justice John G. Roberts and then-US Court of Appeals Judge Brett Kavanaugh for the District of Columbia Circuit.
