US President Joe Biden has shown interest to run for the 2024 presidential elections for a second term in office. while giving an interview with a media house, he said “I plan on running.” Biden is the oldest in the history of the US presidency. He will be 86 by the end of the second term if he wins the 2024 election. Notably, Biden has not announced anything formally yet.

As per sources, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will run together for the White House. However, top White House advisers have been set to make final decisions on launching Biden for re-election. Biden has constantly shown intentions to run for the presidency again. Last year, Biden posed for a photograph in Roosevelt Room with Sharpton, and said, “I am going to do it again.”

Although Biden has shown his intentions to be the candidate of the Democratic party in 2024 he has not made any formal announcement yet. Reportedly, Biden and Harris will run together for the 2024 elections.

The lack of a significant Democratic challenger, the fact that former President Donald Trump has declared his candidature for the GOP nomination and is currently hogging the political limelight, and the impending major fight with congressional Republicans over spending are just a few of the factors taken into account when making a decision. Last week, Trump pleaded not guilty in Manhattan court to falsifying business records.

The two candidates that are announced for the 2024 elections for the Democratic presidential nomination are Marianne Williamson and Robert Kennedy Jr. However, no prominent Democratic officeholders appear to be considering a challenge to the incumbent.

Even before Biden formally announced his desire to run for re-election, Democratic power brokers made it clear that they support his effort despite the vice president’s lacklustre approval ratings. Progressives, moderates, leadership, and rank-and-file Democrats from throughout the party, however, have stated they want to support Biden going into 2024.
