Prosecutors revealed the disturbing details, alleging that Montgomery then dismembered the child's body and concealed it in various locations, including his workplace.
According to reports, Harmony's tragic ordeal began when Montgomery violently struck her multiple times following two bathroom accidents inside the family car. His estranged wife, Kayla Montgomery, disclosed this to law enforcement authorities. The family had resorted to living in their car after being evicted from their residence.

Despite the young girl's cries of distress from the backseat, Montgomery callously proceeded to drive, indulging in meals and drugs while ignoring her plight. The extent of the brutality emerged when the couple discovered Harmony's lifeless body hours later, only after their vehicle broke down.

After Harmony's demise, Montgomery embarked on a gruesome mission to conceal his heinous crime. He transported her remains in a tote bag to his workplace, where he worked as a cook and dishwasher. Shockingly, he stored the bag alongside food items in the restaurant's freezer during his shifts, unbeknownst to his colleagues.
Prosecutor Christopher Knowles revealed the grim details, stating, "He brought it with him regularly to work and he stored it in a freezer where the company kept food, ingredients. People saw him bringing that in and out. They couldn't have imagined what that bag contained."
