The United States and Iran are going to meet with each other on the nuclear program in Oman on Saturday. Trump had pulled the US out of the nuclear deal in his previous tenure, after which tensions between Iran and the US had increased and now this tension is at its peak. Donald Trump wants Iran to deal with the nuclear program, in which it can be prevented from making nuclear bombs.

The stakes are high

Trump has already threatened that if Iran does not make a deal, then it will have to face the consequences. On Wednesday, Trump said military action would be "absolutely" an alternative to the nuclear deal and that Israel would lead any strike if talks that were set to begin on Saturday fail. That is, it has become clear that Israel can launch a big attack on Iran if there is no deal with the US. "This is a start, we have a little time, but we don't have much time because we will not allow them to have nuclear weapons," he told the White House media, referring to the talks in Oman.

Trump has put a demand in front of Iran

"Tehran is in a difficult situation, but they understand and I'm not asking for much. He made it clear that if Iran wants military war, then we are ready. "Israel, of course, will be highly engaged, it will be its commander. But no one commands us, we do what we wish to do."

Attempting to exert pressure on Iran

Trump's comments were made just days before he is set to engage in direct talks with Iranian officials on Saturday. "We are in direct talks with Iran," he said together with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday. They have started already and will again start on Saturday. Experts are considering Trump's statement before the talks as a statement given to put pressure on Iran. But it has become clear that Israel is going to keep a close eye on this dialogue.

Will America and Iran reconcile their differences or will things spin out of control into a full-scale war? One thing for sure: the world is holding its breath.
