Reaffirmation of Strategic Partnership

The USISPF stated that the meeting reinforced the robust partnership between the U.S. and India, which is built upon shared democratic values, increased economic collaboration, and a dedication to regional and global security within a free and prosperous Indo-Pacific. The organization anticipates a bright future for US-India relations as they deepen strategic ties and share aspirations for global stability and prosperity.

Defense and Security Cooperation

The USISPF also emphasized the prioritization of the defense relationship, with President Trump announcing increased military sales to India to strengthen its defense capabilities. This includes the potential provision of advanced military equipment such as F-35 fighter jets, C-130J Super Hercules, and other aircraft. Furthermore, the leaders introduced the 'U.S.-India COMPACT' (Catalyzing Opportunities for Military Partnerships and Cooperation in Advanced Technologies) to enhance defense collaboration and drive technological innovation.
