The United States has been experiencing a series of campus gun violence in recent times. He also added that none of them had life-threatening injuries.According to Lance Hatcher, the universitys police chief out of the five injured, four were students from the university.Following the shooting, the university was locked down for hours after the active shooter alert was issued earlier in the evening. However, as the situation has calmed now, the warning has now been lifted, officials said.Campus authorities take actionThe accused has not been arrested yet. No arrests were announced in connection with the shooting.The authorities have asked the family members to avoid the affected areas. Moreover, Classes scheduled for Wednesday had been cancelled, authorities said.The Morgan State University is a historically Black university and has around 9,000 students.Due to easy access to guns, the matter of increasing mass shootings is a serious concern in the United States.
