Michelle Obama, former First Lady of the US, is among one of the leading choices to replace President Joe Biden as the Democratic party's candidate for the presidential elections, according to the one of the recent surveys.

Michelle Obama being a leading choice to replace Joe Biden as the presidential candidate in the 2024 US elections would certainly be a significant development. As the former First Lady and a highly respected figure, she possesses both name recognition and political experience, which are crucial factors in presidential campaigns. However, it's essential to note that such decisions involve numerous variables, including party dynamics, public opinion, and potential candidates' willingness to run. While speculation can abound, the actual outcome often surprises.

Nearly half of the democrats, which is almost 48% of the polled expressed their choice for someone other than Biden in the upcoming US elections 2024, as compared to 38% who disapprove.

Michelle Obama received 20% of the vote, placing her ahead of other contenders to succeed 81-year-old Joe Biden. Vice President Kamala Harris, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Governors Gavin Newsom of California and Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan, along with "none of the above" and "not sure" choices, were other candidates.

Almost 15% of Democrats preferred Kamala Harris to be the Democratic presidential nominee, following Michelle Obama. A further 12% expressed a desire to see a rerun of the 2016 presidential election between 76-year-old Hillary Clinton and 77-year-old Donald Trump.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump, who is facing a possible criminal conviction before election, which theoretically could see him face decades in prison.
