According to a new report, in the year 2022, about 268 million tonnes of plastic waste was produced worldwide, in which India's share was only 3.5%.

America and China have a big role in plastic waste

According to research, about 400 million tons of plastic was produced in 2022. America's share in this was 42% and China's 32%. China was the largest plastic user country, using 20% ​​of the world's plastic supply. America used 18%, the European Union 16%, India 6% and Japan used 4% plastic.
