US actor backs PM Modi as 'best leader' ahead of 2024 Lok Sabha elections

Prominent African-American actress and singer Mary Millben has voiced strong support for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, calling him the “best leader for India.”

In an interview on Thursday, the 41-year-old Millben stated she believes PM Modi is on track for re-election in May. “There’s a lot of support for the Prime Minister here in the United States. I believe many desire to see him re-elected because again, he’s the best leader for India,” she said.

Millben, well-known for her rendition of India’s national anthem and Hindu devotional songs, has a huge fan base in India. Her remarks come as both India and the US gear up for crucial elections in 2024. While Millben is backing ex-President Donald Trump in America, she is rooting for PM Modi in India.
