Former US President and Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump engaged in a candid conversation on Spaces with Tesla and X CEO Elon Musk. During the discussion, Trump launched a scathing attack on his Democratic rival, Vice President Kamala Harris, as both prepare for the upcoming November election.
Trump criticized Harris for being "further left" than the Biden administration, warning that her policies would exacerbate illegal immigration into the U.S. "Many people expected the Biden administration to be moderate, but it’s far from it. With Kamala, we’re only going to see an even more left-leaning administration," Trump remarked to Musk.
He continued his criticism, stating, "We don’t have a president right now – and Kamala is even worse. She’s a San Francisco liberal who’s already destroyed that city and California. Electing her would mean the destruction of our country."

Illegal immigration, a recurring theme in Trump's rhetoric, was a focal point of his critique. He accused Harris and the Biden administration of allowing an influx of undocumented immigrants into the country. "If Kamala gets elected, we’ll see 50-60 million illegals entering the U.S. from around the world. Countries are emptying their prisons and sending them here, bringing crime and violence to our communities," Trump claimed.
The former president also took a shot at the Biden administration’s performance, labeling the government as "defective" and ineffective. "We have millions of people entering the country each month, and Kamala pretends she’ll take action. They’ve had nearly four years and another five months ahead, but nothing will change," Trump said.
Trump, who first ran on the slogan "Make America Great Again," reiterated his concerns about the economy, blaming the Biden administration for the current state of inflation. "The American Dream is gone. People are using all their savings and borrowing money just to survive," he added.
In a moment of optimism, Trump promised to prioritize national security, especially against nuclear threats, which he considers more dangerous than climate change. "We’re going to build an Iron Dome, like Israel has, but even better. It will be made in the US, and we’ll ensure the country is protected," Trump declared.
Elon Musk, who has openly supported Trump’s presidential bid, emphasized the importance of a secure future as the reason for his endorsement. "Safe cities, secure borders, sensible spending, and deregulation are critical for our future. That’s why I’m supporting you for President," Musk stated.
Despite his sharp political stance, Trump revealed a softer side, admitting that he wasn’t always a staunch Republican. "I stood in line for six hours to shake Obama’s hand when he was running for president. Historically, I’d call myself a moderate Democrat. But now, I believe we’re at a critical juncture for the country," Trump reflected.
As the race for the American Presidency intensifies, Trump’s attacks on Kamala Harris’s immigration stance contrast sharply with Harris’s focus on Trump’s positions on abortion and LGBTQ rights.
