A passenger train crash in Russia has resulted in 20 people being injured. According to the official update, the incident happened when the train was going from the city of Vorkuta, above the Arctic Circle, to the port of Novorossusky on the Black Sea in the southern part of the country.

Rescue operations and investigations are likely underway to understand what happened and to ensure the safety and care of the affected passengers.
