Massive fire engulfs building owned by Malayali businessman in Kuwait, 51 dead | Horrific video surfaces

On Wednesday, a building in Kuwait in the southern city of Mangaf caught fire. Kuwait is a Gulf nation.The fire killed forty Indians and wounded numerous others. The structure belonged to Kuwait's largest construction company, NBTC. The fire broke out in the kitchen of a six-story building in Mangaf city at about six in the morning local time, according to accounts from the local media. This information has been provided in a report by the official Kuwait News Agency. On Wednesday morning, the fire started and flames could be seen rising from the structure. The multi-story building's floors were affected by this fire. Upto 50 casualties have been reported.

Indian PM Narendra Modi and external minister S. Jaishankar paid tribute to the incident while also informing that Indian ambassadors are in the camps as further news is awaited. 

Kerala is home to the five Indians that perished in this catastrophe. According to Kuwaiti authorities, the cause of the fire is being determined and we are looking into the situation. At four in the morning local time, the structure caught fire. It took some time to put out the fire because the majority of people were sleeping at the time. 

It was not apparent if those deaths were part of the 41 deaths reported by the police initially.  Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousuf Al-Sabah, the interior minister of Kuwait, has requested that the owner of the Mangaf building, where a tragic fire occurred, be placed under arrest. The janitor of the building and the business owner in charge of the employees that reside there have also been requested to be arrested by the minister.

Camps are at work! 

Workers at an industrial plant utilize this building as a labor camp. Based on the information that has been gathered thus far, this building also houses a sizable Malayalam-speaking population. Many people were so afraid of the fire that they leaped out of the windows. It was that fierce.

In the process of trying to save their lives, they also sustained severe injuries. Based on the information currently available, this accident has injured about forty-three people.The police and fire departments have admitted these victims to adjacent hospitals. Many of the injured people still have critical conditions. The First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef, along with the Governors of Mubarak Al-Kabeer and Ahmadi, visited the Mangaf fire site after the mishap.
