Third world war looms: Europe scrambles to prepare for nuclear conflict with Russia

The present international scenario, a fear of the third world war is being generated, and under the same pretext, Europe is beefing up against Russia. It has raised very serious issues over the potential of war given the increasing effects of the war between Russia and Ukraine and other political crises. Europe, particularly the NATO member nations, have adopted various steps in order to strengthen its defense mechanism.

War to withdraw NATO from Eastern Europe and recreate the Russian Empire

In the midst of conflict with Ukraine, reports have indicated that Europe is gearing up for a third world war, with preparations for hiring survival guides, nuclear bunkers and military personnel. European nations believe Vladimir Putin is only a couple of years away from launching a war to withdraw NATO from Eastern Europe and recreate the Russian Empire. The EU thinks that if Putin wins in Ukraine, Russia might attack at any time around 2030. The European Commission has stated the Union must prepare for a major war with Russia.

European nations are calling Britain back into the European Union

 This will provide them with the backing of Europe's second nuclear-power state. Concurrently, European nations are losing hopes for the US and are going to enlist more individuals in their militaries. Civilians are also being readied for the possibility that Russian tanks fail to enter Europe and paratroopers do not descend at the crossroads.

Chances of a third world war

France is the newest nation to publish a guide for its citizens to prevent invasion. The 20-page guide will instruct French citizens on how to protect the republic in the case of invasion by volunteering to join reserve forces or local defense groups. It will also tell them how to assemble a survival kit from basics such as six litres of water, canned food, batteries and basic medical supplies.

Europe's war preparedness

Earlier this week, French President Emmanuel Macron announced that French fighter jets carrying new-generation hypersonic nuclear missiles are now stationed on the border of allied Germany. Germany is likely under the cover of France's nuclear weapons. In case Germany is attacked, Macron will detonate the atomic bomb to defend his ally because France will feel threatened. This is something Poland also desires and which the French president is thinking of granting.

Soldier recruitment and security measures

The EU has also launched a significant spending program to restore its forces and aid Ukraine. The bloc is set to commit as much as 800 billion euros (500 billion pounds) to defence. Europe expects to establish drone shields from the Baltic to the Black Sea, as it aims to discourage Russian aggression and make the possibility too excruciating for Putin.
