Sudan Struck by Tragedy: Plane Crash Kills 46 in Deadly Incident

Sudan Plane Crash: A tragic accident has happened in Sudan. Where, a military plane has crashed in Omdurman city, in which at least 46 people have died. While more than 10 people have been injured. 

What did the Army Say?

The army said in a statement that the 'Antonov' plane crashed while flying from Wadi Sayedna airbase north of Omdurman. Military personnel and civilians have died in this accident, but it did not say what caused the accident. 

According to officials, the death toll in the accident has risen to at least 49. The ministry said the plane crashed into a civilian's house in Omdurman's Karrari district, causing casualties on the ground as well.

Civil war has been going on in Sudan since the violent conflict between the army and the RSF began. So far, more than 24,000 people have been killed in this conflict, more than 14 million people have become homeless and famine has occurred in different parts of the country.
