India-Russia Ties: In a significant diplomatic development, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin engaged in a productive discussion, paving the way for the enhancement of the India-Russia Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership. The enduring relationship between Russia and India, rooted in history, has consistently been a cornerstone of India's foreign policy.
