Nature has wreaked havoc in many states of America. The sudden storm and floods caused havoc overnight. Hundreds of houses and shops in Alabama and Mississippi turned into rubble. So far 16 people have died, out of which 10 are only in Tennessee. The situation is so bad that alert has been issued in Kentucky, Mississippi and Tennessee . Overflowed rivers have badly damaged roads, bridges and houses. Relief work is going on, but the situation is seen out of control. Air traffic has also been affected - 521 flights canceled and more than 6400 flights are delayed.

International News. At least 16 people have died due to storms and sudden floods in many parts of America. The storm and floods in Alabama and Mississippi destroyed many houses and shops overnight. The Meteorological Department has also issued an alert in Kentucky, Mississippi and other areas of Tennessee. Due to torrential rains, the rivers of Central America came in spate and the situation deteriorated. According to reports, due to heavy devastation, the administration is taking fast steps to help the people and emergency warnings have been issued in many areas. Since the beginning of the storm, 16 people have lost their lives, out of which only 10 deaths have occurred in Tennessi. A warning has also been issued in Texas and Ohio.

Rubble all around

The National Weather Service said dozens of locations in several states were close to that level. Widespread flooding could cause severe damage to structures, roads, bridges and other critical infrastructure. Drone images from Hopkinsville and Kentucky showed massive amounts of debris under water, with buildings leveled as if they never existed. A 57-year-old man died Friday evening after getting out of a car that was swept off the road in Missouri.

521 flights cancelled, 6400 flights delayed

Two people died in Kentki, including a 9 -year -old boy. The incident occurred at Kentki's Frankfort, where there was a flood due to heavy rains. The report quoted officials as saying that the boy was swept away while on his way to school, while a 74-year-old man died and his body was found inside a completely submerged vehicle in Nelson County on Saturday. Flights have also been affected due to bad weather and 521 flights have been cancelled and more than 6,400 flights have been delayed, according to FlightAware.com. Relief operations are underway in several US states where tornadoes and flash floods have caused massive destruction. Meanwhile, flash flood and tornado warnings have been issued in Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee and Kentucky. Reports say that more heavy rains and destructive winds are predicted in these areas.

Continuous rain in Kentucky

Dramatic scenes showed eastern Kentucky flooded, with hundreds of roads across the state nearly impassable. Forecasters on Saturday said many parts of Kentucky were receiving steady rain, while Arkansas and Missouri received more than 8 inches (20 centimeters), according to reports. Weather experts said the damaging rain was the result of an unstable atmosphere, strong winds and abundant moisture coming in from the Gulf. At least two tornadoes were confirmed in Missouri and Arkansas on Friday evening, according to the National Weather Service.
