New Delhi:Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump criticized Taylor Swift for endorsing his Democratic opponent, Kamala Harris. Trump questioned Swift's political judgment, implying that her support for Harris was unsurprising given her past endorsements of Democratic candidates, In a recent interview with Fox & Friends.

Trump commented, “I was not a Taylor Swift fan; it was just a matter of time before she endorsed Harris. You look at Biden, and it’s clear she couldn’t endorse him.” He further stated, “Swift is a very liberal person and seems to always back Democrats. She’ll probably face consequences for this in the marketplace.”

Taylor Swift endorses Harris on Instagram

Taylor Swift recently made headlines by publicly declaring her support for Kamala Harris. On Instagram, Swift stated, “I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos.”

In the same Fox interview, Trump also expressed his admiration for Brittany Mahomes, a former soccer player who had previously supported one of Trump's social media posts. “I like Brittany; I think she’s great. She’s a big MAGA fan, and I like her much better than Taylor Swift,” Trump remarked.

Recently, Taylor Swift was seen at a US Open match with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce. During the event, she embraced Brittany Mahomes, who was accompanied by her husband, Patrick Mahomes. This gesture drew criticism from some of Swift’s fans, who accused her of showing support for Trump, despite her vocal endorsement of Harris.
