Despite the declared truce, the relentless bombardment has dashed hopes of peace, leaving civilians caught in the crossfire of a promise unfulfilled.

 Russia-Ukraine Truce Fails: The ink had barely dried on the Russia-Ukraine ceasefire agreement when the skies over Ukrainian cities lit up with explosions once more.Seven people were injured in this attack. According to the Kiev Independent report, Mayor Vitali Klitschko said that at least seven people were injured in the attacks. One of the injured has been admitted to hospital, while others were given medical treatment at the scene.


Two residential buildings caught fire
According to officials, two residential buildings in the city's Dniprovsky district caught fire. Mayor Vitali Klitschko said debris from the drone caused a fire on the upper floors of one of the buildings. According to Kyiv City Military Administration chief Timur Tkachenko, the 20th floor of another apartment building in the same district was also hit. Earlier, drone debris fell on a catering facility located in that area.

He said pieces of the drone also fell on two high-rise buildings in the Podilsky district, causing fires at both locations. Emergency services have been dispatched to the sites of the attack. Full details of casualties and damages are still being updated.


The attack came less than a week after the ceasefire
A car was damaged in the Shevchenkivsky district. Klitschko reported that debris also fell in an industrial area in the Holosiivsky district. Several explosions rocked the capital overnight, while air defense units remained active in the city, the Kyiv Independent reported.
