The upcoming 'International Yoga Festival – 2024' is set to unfold its spiritual and wellness journey on the banks of the sacred Ganges in Rishikesh from March 15 to 21. Taking place at the Yog Bharat Ghat in Muni Ki Reti, this week-long event promises a convergence of Yoga gurus, spiritual luminaries, and health and fitness experts. 

Esteemed personalities such as Swami Sukhabodhananda, Dr Hester O'Connor, S. Sridharan, Douglas Atmananda Rexford, Swamy Ajay Rana, and Anshuka Parwani will guide participants on a holistic exploration of mind, body, and soul.

Tourism Minister of Uttarakhand, Satpal Maharaj, emphasized the state's pivotal role in promoting yoga on both national and international fronts. With the highest number of yoga practitioners flocking to the Dev Bhoomi for spiritual awakening, Rishikesh has solidified its status as the yoga epicenter. 
The International Yoga Festival, organized by the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board, serves as a testament to this prominence, offering a grand platform for yoga enthusiasts to learn and evolve.

This year's festival, featuring top international yoga schools, provides a unique opportunity for participants to immerse themselves in the ancient practice of yoga. Renowned schools like the Art of Living, Isha Foundation, Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram, Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute, Sivananda Ashram, and Manav Dharam Ashram will guide attendees through various forms of meditation in a serene environment.

Event Itinerary:

The event will include panel discussions led by experts, covering topics such as the benefits of music therapy, the science of intuition through Pragya Yog, Marm Chikitsa, Yoga and Strishakti, among others. Each evening will be adorned with the tranquil and mesmerizing Ganga arti, creating a mystical atmosphere. 

Event Performances:

Attendees can also experience enchanting melodies filled with devotion and love for the divine, featuring renowned bands like Kabir Cafe and Pandavas Band, fusion rhythms by Swaraag, Kathak dance by Aditi Mangal Das, Dance Ballet by Anuj Mishra, and more. The International Yoga Festival is poised to be a holistic celebration, combining ancient wisdom with contemporary expressions of well-being.
