Reason why Prince Harry and Meghan Markle won’t visit the UK anytime soon

The return of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to the UK has been a popular subject that has gone through numerous rumours recently. It’s been believed that Meghan Markle would have to face a curtsy before Kate Middleton if Prince William becomes king in the future, which was speculated as the reason behind Harry and Meghan not returning to Britain.

Royal Commemoration 

The Royal Family will commemorate the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, who passed away one year later on September 8, 2022. Prince Harry is said to appear in Britain for the event.

Harry to set course for Germany 

Prince Harry is anticipated to depart from Britain and travel to Germany, where the 2023 Invictus Games will take place in Düsseldorf from September 9 to September 16. Meghan will reportedly attend the games as well. Notably, the Invictus Games are an international sporting competition for wounded, ill, and disabled veterans and active military personnel. 

What is Invictus?

The Latin word “Invictus” means “unconquered.” Prince Harry established the event in 2014 to honour the veterans’ significant contributions and promote their social integration and mental health through sports. 

Since renouncing their royal duties and relocating to California in the United States in 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan have remained there.
