Travis Scott was taken into custody early Friday morning in Paris following a confrontation with a security guard outside the George V hotel. The altercation occurred when Scott, allegedly intoxicated, became aggressive after the guard intervened to separate him from his bodyguard. The Paris public prosecutor’s office reported that Scott’s behavior was unruly, and he was uncooperative with requests for a breathalyzer test.
Earlier that evening, Scott had been seen at a basketball game where he cheered on the French team’s victory over Germany in the Olympic semi-finals. His excitement was evident as he posted enthusiastic updates on his X account. However, following the game, Scott was surrounded by paparazzi and later filmed seeking assistance from the police amidst a large crowd.
This arrest mirrors an earlier incident in Miami Beach. In June, Scott was detained for disorderly intoxication and trespassing following a dispute with a chartered yacht crew. He was subsequently released on bail, paying fines of $500 for disorderly conduct and $150 for trespassing.
Currently, Scott is touring as part of his Circus Maximus Tour, which will include performances in Latin America, New Zealand, and Australia this fall. He is scheduled to return to the US for a show in Las Vegas.
