Modi addressed the members of the Indian diaspora at a community gathering to honour the country’s dynamic, diversified Indian diaspora, which drew a lot of applause from the crowd.

PM Modi stated that India will establish a new consulate in Brisbane, Australia. “A new Indian Consulate will be open shortly in Brisbane,” he announced during the event in Sydney. On Monday, PM Modi arrived in Sydney for the third and last country of his three-nation visit. The Prime Minister highlighted India’s economic progress and the financial sector, which is strong amidst the financial crisis in the United States. He said that India has no shortage of talent or resources and that it is the world’s “biggest and youngest talent factory.” 

“Today, the IMF regards India as a crucial country in the global economy.” “The World Bank considers that if anyone is up against global challenges, it is India,” he remarked. “Several countries’ banking systems are in trouble today, but the financial stability of India’s banks is being recognised worldwide.” The Prime Minister also mentioned the attempts made by India during the Covid period. “India made high exports last year despite the once-in-a-century crisis,” he remarked, noting that the nation’s foreign reserves are reaching an all-time high. “Our digital stake is a prime example of how India operates for global welfare. You all must have heard of India’s FinTech revolution.”
