A French court on Sunday decided that a plane carrying 303 Indian passengers who were stopped close to Paris on suspicion of human trafficking is allowed to depart on Monday, according to the sources. However, it's unclear if the aircraft will make it back to India.

The Indian passengers also included 11 children who were heading to Nicaragua. When it arrived at the Vatry airport from Dubai for refuelling, an anonymous tip indicated that they might be victims of human trafficking.

After questioning the passengers for two days, French prosecutors on Sunday permitted the Airbus A340 to depart France, according to a statement from the local authorities. They also stated that a complete approval for their departure is anticipated on Monday. However, their destination was not mentioned in the statement.

The Vatry airport which generally caters to low-cost airline is located at least 150 kms away from the capital, Paris.
As part of a specific French investigation into possible human trafficking by an organised criminal network, two passengers were apprehended. The local government said that several others applied for refuge in France. Eleven of the passengers, according to the prosecution, were unaccompanied children receiving special administrative treatment.

Meanwhile, Indian authorities are in continues contact of France for the welfare of the passengers.
