The incident occurred six days ago when Bushra Bibi experienced health issues after consuming a meal that she described as "unusually spicy." She later revealed to her lawyer that the food contained an acidic chemical substance, causing blisters in her mouth and throat.
Mashal Yousafzai, representing Bushra Bibi, condemned the alleged poisoning, stating that it was a malicious act intended to harm her client. Yousafzai emphasized the severity of Bushra Bibi's condition and her desire to inform the nation about the incident.
Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) issued a statement condemning the "fascist regime" for the alleged attack on Bushra Bibi and the denial of medical aid. The party vowed to pursue justice and urged higher courts to intervene promptly.
Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi are facing legal repercussions stemming from the Toshakhana case and their marriage during the 'Iddat' period. Despite their convictions and sentencing, PTI continues to advocate for their rights and fair treatment.
