More than 80 earthquakes hit Taiwan's east coast in the past 24 hours that also shok buildings in the capital Taipei. Earthquake. It is being told that the epicenter of the earthquake was in the rural eastern county of Hualien. An earthquake of 7.2 magnitude occurred on April 3, in which about 14 people died. Since this powerful earthquake, hundreds of earthquakes have occurred in Taiwan.

Quakes hit Taiwan's Hualien at night

Hualien's fire department said that a hotel was badly damaged after the earthquake on April 3, and it has tilted further after the earthquake that occurred last night. However, the department also informed that at present the hotel was not being operated in that building.

There were no reports of casualties 

The world's largest contact chipmaker, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co, whose factories are on the island's western coast, said some staff at a small number of factories were evacuated, but facility and safety systems were functioning normally and all personnel were safe.

Out of these, 100 earthquakes are such which cause more damage. The longest lasting earthquake in history occurred in the Indian Ocean in 2004. This earthquake lasted for 10 minutes.
