A number of 'suicide bombers' struck the Pakistan Air Force Base in Mianwali, Punjab on Saturday.
According to the sources, an early morning attack by five or six heavily armed individuals resulted in an exchange of gunfire. There have been reports that during the continuing gunfight, one of the attackers was killed.
Tehreek-e-Jihad Pakistan (TJP), a terrorist organization located in Pakistan, has taken credit for the attack.

On Friday also, at least 5 people were killed and over 20 got injured after a bomb blast took place in the Dera Ismail Khan district of Pakistan, according to media reports.
