According to the Xinhua news agency, the Chinese police have launched an investigation against these officials and accused them of carrying out cyber attacks on important information systems of China. The matter has come to the fore between the growing trade war and tension between China and the United States, and now there is a possibility of further negative impact in the relationship between the two countries.

Energy, Transport, Water conservation ares affected

The three NSA officers which Xinhua has identified the Catherine A.K. Wilson, Robert J. Snelling and Stephen W. Jeevanasan It is alleged that these officials launched cyber attacks on China's important information mechanisms and targeted Chinese major companies such as Huawei. These attacks targeted sensitive areas such as energy, transport, water conservation, communication and national defense, especially in the Helongjiang province. These attacks severely affected China's security and infrastructure, causing resentment among Chinese government officials and citizens.

Trade war & tension between China & US increased
