The death toll for the earthquake that struck Nepal late on Friday has risen to 128. An earthquake of magnitude 6.4 on Richter scale had hit Nepal late on Friday at 11:32 pm. 

Visuals from the affected area of Jajarkot shows buildings ravaged and crumbling due to the massive effect of the earthquake.

In efforts to treat the affected people Bheri Hospital, Kohalpur Medical College, Nepalgunj military hospital and Police Hospital have been made dedicated hospital.

Moreover, normal air flight movement has been suspended and all heli-operators in Nepal have been asked to be on standby to airlift the injured patients from affected areas.

According to the Nepal officials, they have given out orders to station an ambulance at Nepalgunj Airport and military barrack helipad.

Meanwhile, Nepal Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has left for the earthquake-affected area along with doctors and aid materials, the Prime Minister’s office said.
