A 30-year-old Namibian woman was arrested at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg after being caught smuggling cocaine bullets. The arrest occurred after authorities received a tip-off about a drug mule on a flight from Sao Paulo, Brazil. Upon her arrival, the woman was intercepted by the police, and an X-ray scan revealed that she had swallowed over 60 cocaine bullets.National police spokesperson Brigadier Athlenda Mathe confirmed the arrest, stating, The team immediately intercepted the drug mule as she was making her way through immigration. She was taken to a local hospital where a medical X-ray detected foreign objects in her stomach. So far, she has released more than 60 bullets of suspected cocaine and remains under police guard.The value of the drugs has not yet been determined, as the process of recovering all the cocaine bullets from the suspects body may take some time.
